When we at LeadSlinger's first found out about this style of fishing weight during some of our early days, I used to buy our Gemini Breakout Sinkers (the only options available at the time were packs of 10, or you would have to order them from overseas, but it wasn't cheap $$$) that didn't stop us from giving them a try.

• Their designed shape makes them extremely aerodynamic, allowing the user to easily achieve great casting distance.

• If paired with some kind of clipped down fishing rig with a small to medium bait slightly treated with bait elastic, greater distances are easier to achieve.

• Another advantage of their unique design is their screw on heads, which by the way, are easily removed and interchangeable, making them a lot easier to put away in our tackle bag for storage and travel purposes.

• Their stainless-steel legs clip on individually on their respective slot, which also means that if your fishing rig/weight gets moved by tidal currents, seaweed, etc., chances are it will simply hold bottom again thanks to their legs being individually clipped.

• Finally, as you can see in the picture, the legs unclip from their respective slot making your fishing rig and weight a lot easier to retrieve, that and their spherical cone-shaped tail end make them a lot less likely to get snagged up and cause the user a break off, and we all know break offs due to snags can become $expensive$.
